Mayhem (real name May) is an alias under the Halley Labs / LapFox Trax label. She is a female shark that produces what is generally electro house-inspired music with chiptune and breakbeat influences.
Mayhem was one of the mascots of PSURG Design along with Mischief, who she was shown to be in a relationship with before PSURG became defunct. She also stars in the game Shark Attack.
On August 18th, 2015, Emma mentioned in a Reddit post that Mayhem as a musical alias was unlikely to be heard from again.[1] However, a track called Boneless was released under her and Rotteen in December 2016, and she appeared again in BURNING BRAIN (Emoticon & Mayhem's "STAR LAB" RMX) in August 2017. In 2022, Mayhem was redesigned to be less sexualized, also getting a new release.
In the lore, she acts unrestrained and without pacing, sometimes working on hobbies with half her brain asleep. She quit during the LapFox-Halley ownership transfer deal between Renard and Rotteen but reappeared later upon discovering Kitsune² still worked at Halley Labs. She looks highly at Kitsune² for his compositional talent.

Biography
she has an immense lack of self-discipline and cannot pace herself. she will sometimes continue with her hobbies for days on end, letting half of her brain sleep at a time while carrying on working with little to no short term memory. nothing good has ever come of this. she vanished for some time, dissatisfied with the way the "LF-H" ownership transfer deal was being handled, but reappeared after realizing one of their oldest compatriots still works at HALLEY.
